Talia and SatADSL grow partnership
A new low-cost satellite broadband service will be launched across Iraq and Afghanistan as SatADSL, a provider of professional VSAT services via satellite, and Talia agreed to expand their long-term partnership.
Talia is able to offer customers video capture capability from either satellite or terrestrial services such as the Talia MPLS fibre infrastructure and re-broadcast the channels onto a different satellite and/or fibre system for use elsewhere in the world.
With IP streaming we can receive a channel or channels from a satellite and host on a server at the Talia data centre, providing easy access for users to watch via the Internet.
Talia’s broadcast centre is connected to multiple redundant fibre providers at Gigabit plus speeds. The connection from your origination facility to Talia will usually only involve a local ‘last mile’ solution. Thereafter services can be carried by terrestrial fibre to the Talia data centre and then onwards to the Talia broadcast centre.
