Talia features service on satellite Telstar 12, orbiting geosynchronously at 15°W. Operated by Telesat, Telstar 12 is designed to provide a package of communications services (digital TV, telephony, videoconferencing, data transmission, and Internet access) and to deploy satellite networks by applying VSAT technology.

Telstar 12 is equipped with up-to-date antenna systems, and provides high-quality communications and uniform coverage in Ku-bands.
