'Network capacity is at a premium,' said Tyler Wagner, Talia's Chief Technical Officer. 'We're happy to get some capacity on NSS-703, which has excellent coverage in the Middle East, so we can better support our customers in the region.'

NSS-703 at 57ยบ East provides vital cross-connectivity for Europe, Africa and Asia. NSS-703's coverage includes a global beam, and two C-band hemispheric beams, which cover Africa and the triangle from Eastern Iran to Japan and Australia, including all of India and China. A steerable Ku-band spot beams currently target Europe and the Middle East.

'Our existing networks on RSCC's AM-22 and Arabsat BADR-4 have been very popular,' said Alan Afrasiab, Talia's Chief Executive Officer. 'NSS-703 will allow us to bring our services, already known and respected, in the widely-available standard KU range.'

Talia's NSS-703 services are on spot beam 1. A coverage map is available here.

'Sales on NSS-703 will begin Monday,' said Travis Mooney, Talia's Chief Operations Officer. 'We've priced everything out, and will release the prices to our existing resell channel as soon as possible. Coverage is particularly good in Northern Iraq, the Kurdish Region, and Turkey, and we can offer excellent service to customers in regions where Arabsat BADR-4 has a bit less power.'
