FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Talia Highlights Expanded African Coverage at CABSAT Conference, Dubai, 4-6 March 2008
LONDON, UK. -- 2007-02-22
Talia, the leading provider of iDirect services in the Middle East and North Africa, will unveil expanded African coverage at the Cable, Satellite, Broadcast & Communications Exhibition (CABSAT) conference in Dubai, 4-6 March 2008.
Expanded African Coverage for Talia iDirect and iSCPC Services
Building on existing knowledge of the Middle Eastern and North African markets, Talia will expand African coverage on a number of satellites with the aim of offering pan-African coverage.
'We've been operating in Northern Africa and the Middle East for a while now,' said Travis Mooney, COO of Talia. 'We think we've had a pretty good success there, growing from 2.8 to 70MHz of occupied space segment in a little over three years. We think the African market is as big as the Middle Eastern, and the users are similar, so our expertise should translate.'
