Talia Expands Satellite Portfolio Through iDirect iNFINITI Hub

Talia is pleased to announce the acquisition of an iDirect iNFINITI hub, which will be used to enhance satellite Internet and voice services for its customers in the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

'We've done well as an iDirect VNO, expanding our service bandwidth on Express AM-22 more than tenfold in less than two years,' said Travis Mooney, Chief Operations Officer of Talia. 'Stepping up from VNO to hub operator was our plan from the start. Now that we have a full transponder on Arabsat BADR-4, with powerful coverage from the Atlantic through to the Persian Gulf, it is exactly the right time to move forward with our own intelligent hub platform.'

Talia's new iDirect iNFINITI hub will be installed at a partner facility and should be fully operational by early August. Existing Talia customers on Express AM-22 will be unaffected.

Buying a hub is more about expanding our options, including offering some customers VNO packages of their own.'

Talia's VNO packages will come in three variations: Dedicated VNO, Shared VNO, and iCNO. Pricing and full details will be available next week.
