Talia Launches New Dedicated (SCPC) Services

Talia International is pleased to announce the expansion of our dedicated (SCPC) satellite services. Our new services, based on PAS4, and Express AM-1, bring unique options to our line up, and can supply anything from 64x64Kb to an entire transponder at a competitive price.

Dedicated satellite services differ from shared services in that the entire space segment is reserved for a customer's use, and therefore the customer is always guaranteed all the bandwidth. The customer can also determine what services to run. For example, most shared network services block peer to peer filesharing and limit VoIP &emdash; neither of which is the case with dedicated connectivity.

Alongside expanded SCPC services, we continue to offer:

iDirect Satellite Services

Talia International operates an iDirect-based service on Express-AM 22, with coverage throughout the Middle East, North Africa and the East Mediterranean. The combination of iDirect technology and Express-AM 22 provides an unparalleled platform. On three shared networks, we offer contention ratios of 4:1, 8:1, and 20:1. All services include public IP addresses and optional CIR.

Satlynx Satellite Services

Partnering with Satlynx gives Talia more choices for coverage throughout the Middle East and Europe. On the Satlynx 9000 platform we can easily and quickly implement customised and private networks, whereas the existing 360E and 3020 platforms provide ready-made solutions for Europe.

Voice and Telephony

Talia International is in a rare position of owning (and understanding) both satellite and voice infrastructures, which, combined, offer a single point of contact for billing, technical, and sales enquiries.
